Originally from California, Hannah is a senior at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She is majoring in Communication Arts with a minor in anthropology. Hannah has experience working as a graphic designer, printer, and freelance fine artist. Primarily an illustrator and painter. She is competent working with the adobe creative cloud, digital drawing, photography, MAC and PC software, acrylic and oil paints, watercolor, charcoal, pencil, ink, collage, and colored pencil. Hannah has also produced short films and recently had her short film “Orange Art” featured in the 2016 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
Stemming from her short films, the concept of vulnerability has been crucial to her development as an artist. Hannah works to create art that exposes truth while conceptualizing the human experience. Minoring in anthropology has complimented the theme of vulnerability present within her current work. In the future, she hopes to directly combine her anthropology studies with her artwork.
